Srinagar, 21 July (KNS): Former Cabinet Minister & Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir on Tuesday felicitated the people of Jammu & Kashmir on the propitious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
In his felicitation message, Ghulam Hassan Mir hoped this Eid brings along everlasting peace, happiness and prosperity to the people of J&K.
“The lesson, which such a holy festival teaches us, is to care for the fellow human beings who require our help and support. In these hard times, the essence of this sacred occasion urges us, especially those belonging to the affluent class in the society, to come forward for the rescue of the downtrodden, poor and needy,” Mir expressed.
He further prayed for peace, prosperity and wished that Eid becomes a harbinger for all-round development in the UT and the country in general. He also hoped that this holy occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity.
Mir also expressed his solidarity with the families of those whose loved ones got devoured in the COVID-19 crises. He prayed for early recovery of all those who have tested positive for the contamination.
