Chugh congratulates Ghulam Ali

Srinagar, September 10 (KNS): Ghulam Ali, a Gujar leader from J&K has been nominated for the Rajya Sabha.

He has been nominated after the vacancy was caused to retirement of some nominated members.

The notification of Ministry of Home affairs says, " In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (a) of clause (1) of article 80 of the Constitution of India, read with clause (3) of that article, the President is pleased to nominate Gulam Ali to the Council of States to fill the vacancy caused due to the retirement of one of the nominated members."

Senior BJP leader and J&K In-charge for BJP Tarun Chugh congratulated Ghulam Ali for the nomination.

"it is great moment for people of  J&K particularly Gujar community. I am sure he will represent aspirations of people there." (KNS)
