Srinagar, Apr 13 (KNS): President of Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) and former Agriculture minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Wednesday expressed grief and sorrow over the killing of two civilians in Kupwara district and expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
Mir also conveyed his solidarity to the families of the two civilians and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
He told KNS that Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti should personally intervene in this incident.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“We hope under Mehbooba’s leadership, democratic institutions should not be undermined,” he said.
Raja Begum who was admitted in Srinagar hospital after receiving bullet injuries succumbed to her injuries at 2:00am on Wednesday while Jahagir Ahmad Wani who was hit by tear smoke shell on Wednesday forenoon succumbed to his injury at PHC Drugmulla. (KNS)
