Srinagar, July 02 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) Chairman and former minister Ghulam Hassan Mir has censured doubling in salary of legislators and not implementing 7th pay commission in the state for government employees.
“When political bosses have to double their salary and perks then financial position of J&K is strong. When it comes for 7th pay commission to government employees then reply is to wait because of financial conditions of our State,” Mir told KNS.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Is this justice? Widows and old age people get 200 rupees per month that too after six months. We can't give them 2000 per month on priority basis but can double salaries and perks of rulers,” Mir told KNS.
The government has doubled the salaries of legislators, but has asked the government employees to wait for at least two years for 7th pay commission. (KNS)
