Srinagar, June 03 (KNS): To prevent the joint protest program of the pro-freedom leadership called against the Sainik and Pandit colonies, the police had although detained Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Ayaz Akbar, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Raja Mehraj-ud-din, Hakeem Abdul Rashid, Mohammad Shafi Lone, Hafiz Bashir Ahmad Farooqi, Mohammad Yaseen Attai, Mohammad Ashraf Laya, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Mohammad Rustum Bhat, Ghulam Mustafa Wani, Sofi Bashir, Abdul Rehman Tantray, Ghulam Mohammad Naggu, Bashir Ahmad Solluah, Parvaiz Ahmad, Fayaz Ahmad Dass, Master Ali Mohammad Bandipora, Ashiq Hussain Narchur, Riyaz Ahmad Islamabad, Mohammad Ayoub Khan, Molvi Bashir Ahmad, Mohammad Amn Sofi Kupwara, Adil Ahmad Wagay, Ishfaq Ahmad Kautwal, Mohammad Asif Dada, Junaid Ahmad Ganai, Arif Ahmad Baba, Kaka Lone and dozens of other activists in different police stations or at their houses but despite all these restrictions people everywhere in the Valley came out on the roads and protested against the anti-Muslim and anti-Kashmir policies of RSS and Sangh Parivar.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
People throughout the Kashmir hoisted black flags to mark a strong protest against the setting up of separate colonies for retired Indian forces personals and the Kashmiri Pandits.
According to the reports received by the Hurriyat headquarters at Hyderpora, Hurriyat leaders Peer Saifullah, Mohammad Yousuf Mujahid, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, Bilal Siddiqi, Shahid Saleem Rajouri, Abdul Rasheed Lone, Basher Ahmad Qurashi, Abdul Hameed Margay, Mudasir Nadvi, Umar Adil Dar, Rameez Raja, Irshad Ahmad and Sajad Ahmad took out a protest march at Hyderpora Chowk.
While as other leaders Mohammad Subhan Wani in Sopore, Mufti Sajad Ahmad in Baramullah, Habibullah Gojri in Kupwara, Danish Ahmad in Bandipora, Mohammad Shaban Dar in Islamabad, Mohammad Rafiq Ganai in Lalhar Kakpora, and Mushtaq Ahmad Rah led the protest demonstration at Pattan. (KNS)
