‘After recovering, he will return to Valley’

Srinagar, Mar 19 (KNS): Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani today had a detailed checkup at Max Hospital New Delhi where doctors advised additional medicines to him. On 10th March, Syed Ali Geelani suddenly complained of chest pain and fell unconscious after which he was admitted in Max Hospital and was discharged after remaining for three days in the hospital ICU.
According to the Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar, Syed Ali Geelani after recovering from ill-health will soon return to Valley and before this if the health permits him, he will also participate in the Pakistan Day function organized by the Pakistan High Commission New Delhi on 23rd March.
Hurriyat (G) spokesman said that Syed Ali Geelani will have an important meeting with the Pakistan High Commissioner on the next day of the function and where the prevailing situation in the state and the dialogue process between India and Pakistan may figure into the discussion.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Spokesman reminded that this winter Syed Ali Geelani had decided not to move to Delhi but he couldn’t tolerate the intense cold in the valley which triggered his sever chest infection after which in February he left for Delhi and since then he is on treatment there. Spokesman said that if doctors allowed, Geelani will return to Srinagar in coming two or three weeks. (KNS)
