Srinagar, Oct 19 (KNS): Expressing his deep grief and sorrow over the death of one of the Kashmiri trucker Zahid Rasool Bhat of Batengoo, Anantnag who were burnt alive by the RSS backed goons in a ghastly attack at Udhampur and who breathed his last in Safderjung Hospital in New Delhi, Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani expressed deep condolence and sympathy with the family members of the slain youth. He said that this is a very shameful incident which should be condemned at each level. On the directions of Geelani Sahab a top level Hurriyat delegation led by its general secretary Haji Ghulam Nabi Sumji today visited Batengoo Islamabad where they participated in the funeral prayers of Zahid Rasool and the prayers were led by Tehreek-e-Hurriyat district president Islamabad Mir Hafizullah. While strongly condemning the imposition of curfew like restriction in the entire valley particularly in Srinagar and Islamabad and the detention of dozens of Hurriyat leaders and activists in their houses or at different police stations including Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar, secretary public relations Altaf Ahmad Shah, Mohammad Ashraf Laya and Shakeel Ahmad Bhat, Hurriyat chairman said that at one hand our loved ones are mercilessly killed by the government forces or by their sponsored goons and then we are forcibly stopped to even mourn these killings. While demanding registration of murder charges and capital punishment for the involved persons, Geelani sahab said that the persons involved in the heinous crime at Udhampur has been booked under the PSA which is merely an eyewash and by doing this, the sympathizers and masters of these criminals are trying to save them. He said that it is a clear and open case of cold blooded murder and by booking the accused persons under PSA the government is trying to divert the attention of the people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that the RSS-PDP coalition government has brought destruction and miseries to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and this coalition has highly encouraged the communal minded people in the state who have been given free hand to carryout open attacks on the Muslim community here. The people of Kashmir will never forgive Mufti Sayeed led party for handing over the control of the state to the RSS minded people. Terming the thousands of government sponsored anti-Muslim riots including the Dadri and Himachal Pardesh like incident as a blot on the democratic face of India, Geelani sahab said that at present this country is directly ruled by the fascist and communal minded people and the fast growing intolerance in this country is a matter of deep concern for the entire minority of India. RSS and its allied parties have a long pending agenda of converting the country into a Hindu Rashtre and for that purpose they have planned either to forcibly convert the people of other religions through “Ghar Wapsi” like programs or to eliminate the Muslims and other minorities from the country by inciting communal tensions. Now after a very long wait they feel that they have got a favorable government which will help them in the implementation of their wicked agendas. Geelani sahab said that the communal forces in India are so encouraged with the BJP rule that to kill any Muslim or any Christen or any other person from minorities, they only need to find a small excuse. The pro-freedom leader of Kashmir appealed the human rights organizations and the world community to come to the rescue of the minorities in India who are facing worst kind of state terrorism here.
