Srinagar, Feb 14 (KNS): Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani on Tuesday strongly condemned the deadliest attack in Lahore wherein two senior officers including 16 more people were killed.
In a statement issued to KNS, expressing his deep grief and sorrow, Syed Ali Geelani in his appeal to Pakistan administration said that those responsible for attack need to be isolated and brought to book.
Pakistan is facing worst type of terrorism and blaming neighbouring countries, Syed Ali Geelani claimed that these countries are instigating and promoting barbaric & heartless activities in Pakistan. While extending his condolences, and expressing his sympathies with the bereaved families, Syed Ali Geelani said that these attacks are inhuman and those involved in the incidents must be served the stern punishment.
Hurriyat (G) chairman also expressed solidarity with the families of martyrs who were killed during the incident.
Commenting on Lahore attack, Syed Ali Geelani said that this is extreme barbarism & there is no justification for such cowardice acts. Syed Ali Geelani said the killings are tantamount of killing the whole humanity and the act must be condemned and Islam and all other religions have no space for allowing the killings of the innocent people.
Syed Ali Geelani while demanding stringent action against killers, urged rulers in Pakistan to catch on these killers and deal with them as per law of the land.
Pakistan faces dangers at various fronts including on borders from neighboring country and unrest instigated by several foreign agencies, said Syed Ali Geelani.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThey are destabilizing their country & are being used as pawns and knowingly or involuntarily are involved in such brute and un-Islamic activities, said Syed Ali Geelani.
Urging to curb this menace, Syed Ali Geelani laid stress on scholars, intellectuals and Islamic organizations and said that we should condemn those illiterate and semiliterate persons. Syed Ali Geelani urged rulers in Pakistan and stressed to contain this both through iron fist and imparting right and moral education.
Syed Ali Geelani suggested to include standard curriculum, religious education and science in education system from primary to university level & said that it is the tool that can enlighten those having urge for knowledge. This will prove a significant step for a welfare and prosperous state, said Syed Ali Geelani.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat Conference (G) on Tuesday strongly condemned the arresting of Syed Asiya Andrabi & Fahmeeda Sofi.
Demanding their immediate release and said that there is no moral or constitutional justification for their detention.
Hurriyat called it extreme terrorism and said that it is martial law like situation. Even womenfolk are not safe & state terrorism is at its peak. Lashing at police administration, Hurriyat said that they feel free and detain anybody whosoever come in their way. There is no body to care about this highhandedness and accountability is practically non-existent. (KNS)
