Srinagar, May 28 (KNS): While strongly condemning the continuous and illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders and activists who were arrested in connection with the joint protest program given by the pro-freedom leadership, Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani said that the PDP government by chocking the political space of the pro-freedom people want to cultivate the Hindu communal mindset in Jammu & Kashmir and for this purpose they have started a war with the entire Kashmiri nation and want to convert this Muslim majority state into a Hindu Rashtra.
Syed Ali Geelani demanded immediate release of all the arrested people including Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Yasmeen Raja, Ayaz Akbar, Raja Mehraj-ud-din, Mohammad Ashraf Laya, Mohammad Ayoub Khan Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Hurrah, Manzoor Ahmad Lalhar, Zaffar Habib HMT, Bashir Ahmad Shaikh HMT, Shakeel Ahmad Bhat, Manzoor Ahmad Kallo Sopore, Abdul Rashied Baigh, Mohammad Maqbool Quandhu, Mushtaq Ahmad Gullo and Bilal Ahmad Yattoo.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He once again cautioned that this policy will have serious consequences and it will increase the political uncertainty and instability in the state. (KNS)
