While strongly condemning the arrest of Dukhtaran-i-Millat Chief Muhataramah Asiya Andrabi and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat district president Islamabad Mir Hafizullah by the police, Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani demanded their immediate release.
In a statement to KNS, he said that the state government is at war with the pro-freedom people of the state and their “Battle of Ideas” and “Goli Nahi Boli” like slogans have proven to be fraud.
While terming the registration of FIR against Asiya Andrabi Ji as unjustified, Syed Ali Geelani said that every Kashmiri loves Pakistan and if waving of flag of this country is a crime then they have to detain whole Kashmiri nation for this crime.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that the woman leader is suffering from different ailments and detaining her in the police station is very dangerous for her health. She should be immediately released and the FIR against her should be taken back. Syed Ali Geelani also strongly condemned the arrest of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Mir Hafizullah and said that he is often detained by the police. (KNS)
