Srinagar, July 26 (KNS): Today hundreds of people including women in large numbers marched from different areas of the Hyderpora and assembled in front of the Syed Ali Geelani’s Office cum residence which forced the Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani to come on the window of his office where from he addressed the enthusiastic public gathering who after listening to the Geelani left peacefully.
According to a statement issued to KNS, in his address, Hurriyat (G) Chairman reminded the people about the unending tale of unmatched sacrifices of the Kashmiri people since 1931 against the tyrannical rules.
While lashing out at the pro-Indian politicians, Syed Ali Geelani said that these Indian collaborates have always played with the interests of the Kashmiri nation and the people like them have every time rose to backstab their own people. While commenting over the present situation, Geelani said that the sacred blood of Hizb Commander Shaheed Burhan Muzaffar Wani has added a new life to the freedom struggle of the subjugated Kashmiri people and it was his sincerity and piousness which forced the people of the state to come out on the roads against India.
Both his life as well as his martyrdom has shaken the Indian power houses.
In a sobbing and emotional tone, Syed Ali Geelani said that few days before his martyrdom, Shaheed Burhan Wani spoke to me over phone and said to me that he is very happy on talking to me and also said that it was his long pending desire”. In a very brief interaction he said to me that ‘we on our side are trying our best to help this freedom struggle and I have full faith in you that you will also leave no stone unturned to attain the goal of freedom for the Kashmiri nation’.
Syed Ali Geelani said that he (Shaheed Burhan) was very young, very intelligent and matured Mujahid Commander whose sincerity exposed the Indian claims in Kashmir.
On the occasion Syed Ali Geelani cautioned the people against the wicked policies of the pro-Indian people who have different languages at the time of power and out of power.
The pro-freedom leader said that the height of the shamelessness is that these paid Indian agents openly accuse each other of killing the Kashmiri innocent people and compete on the argument “who killed more” in their respective regimes.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Geelani appealed the people to identify these traitors and don’t give them anymore chances to exploit the sentiments of the common Kashmiris. Everybody in the Jammu & Kashmir knows that the pro-Indian politicians are just stooges of New Delhi and they have nothing in their hands except to hike their own salaries and perks. These people are loyal and obedient employees of New Delhi and they have no say even in the local administrative issues and they can’t even order the release of an innocent person from the detention.
While reiterating the protest programs of the pro-freedom leadership, Geelani sahab appealed the people of the Hyderpora and the adjoining areas to assemble here at Tehreek-e-Hurriyat head office on 29 July Friday at sharp 11:00 am to make the ‘Jamia Chalo’ program a grand success and said that we will peacefully march together towards the Jamia Masjid Srinagar on that day.
Syed Ali Geelani also reiterated the tomorrows Kulgam Challo program and appealed the people to follow the programs of the pro-freedom leadership with great discipline.
Meanwhile a Sikh delegation from Tral arrived at Hyderpora to meet the Geelani and assured Geelani that the entire Sikh community is with the freedom struggle of the Jammu & Kashmir. In the meeting the Sikh delegation also revealed that some miscreants and suspicious persons are trying to harass and harm us to vitiate the Sikh-Muslim brotherhood in the state.
Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep sorrow and concern over this and said that the freedom movement of Kashmir is not against any particular religion or any particular section of the society. He said that the Sikh community has always stood with the Kashmiri Muslims shoulder to shoulder in the very trying times and they too have given sacrifices for the movement. He further said that harming Sikh brothers in Kashmir will amount to harming the freedom struggle of the nation. (KNS)
