Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani hasWednesday completed 150 days under the house detention while as senior leaders of the amalgam including Shabir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Sayed Agha Hassan were imprisoned in their homes and not allowed to move out, spokesman of the pro-freedom camp said in a statement.
While strongly condemning the government action, Hurriyat Conference (G) said that Jammu & Kashmir is practically ruled by the army and police and the state law and constitution has been deliberately suspended here.
In a statement to KNS, Hurriyat Conference (G) thanked the people for observing complete shutdown against the brutal killings of youth in Pattan and said that Kashmiri nation is very sensitive with regarding to the freedom movement and “people every time protest and raise their voices against the genocide in Kashmir by the Indian occupational forces”.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While appealing for impartial investigation by some independent international agency into the Pattan killings, Hurriyat (G) spokesman said that the Indian forces from last 26 years are killing Kashmiri youths in a planned way and until the perpetrators and the personnel involved in the serious war crimes in Kashmir are held accountable and are punished for their crime against the humanity, the loss of precious human lives in this region of the world will continue to occur.
