Srinagar, Apr 6 (KNS): The Department of Public Health Dentistry at Government Dental College & Hospital (GDC&H) Srinagar is set to launch a major outreach initiative, the 'School Oral Health Outreach Program', on the occasion of World Health Day 2026.
According to an official communique, the campaign will be flagged off jointly by the Director of Education, Kashmir, and the Principal/Dean of GDC&H Srinagar from the college premises on April 7 at 9:15 AM.

Dr Aasim Farooq Shah, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry, informed that the programme aims to spread awareness about oral hygiene among school children and the general public. He has requested the media to cover the event extensively to ensure that the benefits of the initiative reach every corner of the region. (KNS)
