Says Rs 8000 cr plan for languishing projects a life time opportunity for politically neglected areas

Srinagar, Sep 25 (KNS): Saying that Rs.8000 cr plan rolled out by the Governor administration to complete all the hither to languishing and un-finished projects in the state was a welcome step, Chairman PDF and MLA Khansahib Hakeem Yaseen has hoped that this landmark decision would do justice to such areas which have remained vicitim of government apathy on the basis of political vendate in past.
Speaking to the delegates of Regional Development Forum, Soibug, Budgam today Hakeem Yaseen said that the plan mooted by the Governor administration to complete all un-finished development projects in various parts of the state will prove a boon for development and economic prosperity in such areas also which have been victimised and marginalised so for on the basis of petty political considerations. "I urge the Governor administration to first identify all such victimised areas so that justice is done to the people," Hakeem Yaseen said adding that Soibug in district Budgam is one such area which has been neglected by the previous regimes with regard to development.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said "i fully support and endorse the public demand for a Government. Degree College at Soibug, terming it a just and genuine demand. He assured the delegates of Regional Dev. Forum Soibug the demand for a Gergree College at Soibug would be taken up at all apropriate fora and the Governor S P Malik for its fullfilment at the earliest.
Hakeem Yaseen has also demanded a Government Girls college at Arizal, Budgam adding that the district Budgam as whole was an educationally backward area with only 45 percent literacy rate. He has also sought personal intervention of Governor S P Malik in upgrading and improving health care delivery facilities in Budgam especially in Khansahib area where most of the population lives Below Loverty Line (BPL).
