Srinagar, Sept 08 (KNS): The staff members of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Humhama have expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Shareefa Begum, mother of Samiya Geelani, Principal GBHSS Humhama.

Mtr Shareefa Begum returned to the eternal home this morning after protracted illness.

A condolence meeting was convened at GBHSS Humhama this afternoon where congregational prayers were offered by the staff members for the departed soul.

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, especially Mtr Samiya Geelani, the staff members prayed for Allah’s blessings and highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous for the departed soul.

They also prayed for comfort for the bereaved family in this moment of grief.(KNS)
