Ganderbal, Jun 22 (KNS): Even as the basic facilities including Sadak, Bijli and Pani remained the war cry for the successive regimes so far during their election camping, the village in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district is still lacking the basic facilities, thus forcing the villagers to face hardships.
Palpora village of Tehsil headquarter Kangan of Ganderbal district is located on the left side of Nallah Sindh.
It comprises of villages like Tangdagi, Kralkhani, Dard Basti, Gujar Pati, ChoenDaji, Nenihama and Bakerwal Basti with almost five hundred households residing in these hamlets.
Mehraj Wani, a local resident told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the successive regimes from past several decades have failed to ensure proper raods and other facilities to them, adding that “Palpora hamlet sans everything including bridge and proper road connectivity,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Due to non availability of proper road connectivity, people are suffering a lot, he said, adding that they demand a motorable bridge at Palpora over Nallah Sindh between Saderpora Cherwan besides proper road connectivity from PMGSY road Nenihama from the house of Ali Mohd Malik up-to Palpora to Tangdagi.
Meanwhile, the locals appealed the Governor Satya Pal Malik to look into the matter and ensure proper roads in their hamlet. (KNS)
