Srinagar, Mar 05 (KNS): A youth, who had attempted self-immolation during a demolition drive in Ganderbal on February 22, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura today morning, reports said here.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the youth identified as Amir Ahmad Shah, son of Abdul Hamid of Haran area of Ganderbal succumbed to his injuries today.
On February 22, the youth had attempted self-immolation to prevent demolition of a complex at Gundrahman, in which sustained burn injuries.
He was referred to SKIMS Soura for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries today. (KNS)
