Ganderbal November 07:(KNS) Police in Ganderbal received various complaints about cheating and duping by a Gold Jeweller Aijaz Ahmad Zargar resident of Ibrahim Colony Theeru Ganderbal regarding which cases vide FIR No. 43/2020 of PS Kheerbhawani, FIR No. 226/2020 and FIR No. 227/2020 of PS Ganderbal have been registered.

On 21/10/2020, PS Kheer Bhawani was approached by one Noor Mohammad Zargar resident of Ibrahim Colony Theeru Ganderbal stating that his son Aijaz Ahmad Zargar who is running a Gold Jewellery shop under the name and style of “Chinar Jewellers” at Duderhama Ganderbal is missing since 20/10/2020.

Accordingly a missing report was registered and search was launched to trace the missing person. During the course of investigation, it came to fore that the said missing person have cheated a good number of people from Ganderbal and other adjoining areas and duped their hard earnings and absconding in order to evade legal action.

On 06/11/2020, he was traced out and arrested in already registered case by PS kheer Bhawani.

Further investigation into the matter is going on.(KNS)
