Jammu, Aug 25 (KNS) Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and senior political leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Tuesday termed the rape and murder of a minor girl belonging to the Scheduled Tribe community in Chatroo, Kishtwar, as "absolutely horrifying and shameful."
"The society across the country must rise to the occasion and ensure that people with such dirty mindsets find no place in our society," Azad said.
Notably, Condemnation over the incident has been pouring in from various political quarters, with many demanding fast-track court proceedings and the strictest punishment for the accused. (KNS)
