Srinagar, Nov 22 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former agriculture minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Tuesday demanded immediate release of the salaries of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) teachers which are pending from past five months.
Mir told KNS that it is appreciable that the government is showing concern towards the education in Kashmir but at the same time they are withholding the salaries of SSA teachers, which is unfortunate.
He demanded that the government must release the salaries of SSA teachers at earliest.
Meanwhile, Mir expressed grief over the devastating fire incident at Buchwara Dalgate, in which a person was burnt alive while 23 houses and an electronic shop were got damaged.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He also urged the government to rehabilitate the fire victims, besides ensuring the timely construction of their houses on war footing basis. (KNS)
