Srinagar, Aug 12 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Friday condemned the use of pellet guns on protesters in the Valley.
In a statement issued to KNS, Mir said that despite repeated assurances by the Home Minster that utmost restraint will be observed but on ground the pellets are showered on youths indiscriminately.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Today at many places in the Valley, a number of youths have suffered injuries through pellets. This is the high time to stop the use of pellet guns,” he said.
He said that in Druroo Tangmarg, forces have fired on pellets on youth who were peacefully demonstrating and “I condemn the action.” (KNS)
