JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir visited Peerzada residence and expressed solidarity with Gowhar Peerzada nephew of Former JKPCC President Peerzada Mohd.Sayeed and conveyed his heartfelt condolences over the passing away of young Ulfat Jan

Mir spent sometime with bereaved family and expressed his solidarity with the bereaved family while offering Fateh Khawani.

JKPCC President prayed for eternal peace to departed soul and courage to Gowhar Peerzada and other members of the family to bear the irreparable loss.

Ghulam Ahmad Mir also visited Martyred Sapranch Syed Rafiq’s residence at Hakura (Anantnag) where he met his family members to enquire about their wellbeing.

On this occasion, Mir expressed his disappointment over the bias attitude of the LG administration towards the family of Syed Rafiq, who was martyred during back to village programme in his area. Ironically Govt has not provided any compensation to Syed Rafiq’s family, which is indicative of discrimination and injustice meted out to elected representative belonging to Congress Party.

Mir observed that the financial condition of the family is worse as the Martyred Sarpanch was the only earning hand of his large family and urged the LG J&K Manoj Sinha to release the compensation amount in favour of the family to ensure rehabilitation of the family.

It was very unfortunate to observe that no compensation has not been released to Martyred Sarpach’s family, which has to be investigated to fix the responsibility, JKPCC President added. (KNS)
