Verinag Nov 5 (KNS): Former Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir Saturday visited fire victims of Yakadboru Bala in Kapran area of Verinag in South Kashmir and took stock of the losses.
Mir expressed anguish over the losses due to the unfortunate fire incident in the village.
Former Congress President met the fire victims of Yakadboru Kapran(Verinag) and expressed solidarity with them and expressed dismay over the devastation caused to the houses
Mir termed the incident as most unfortunate and heart wrenching.
It was tragic to learn about the fire incident which has devastated many families, Mir added and urged the Govt to fully rehabilitate the fire victims and also extend all help to them by way of clothes, essentials and construction material including timber enabling them to sustain the winter season and rebuilt their devastated houses.
Mir expressed disappointment over the losses caused to mosque and also demanded its immediate renovation
Those whose houses have been devastated included Ali Mohd Khanday, Ab.Rehman Ganie,Ab.Rashid Ganie and Ab.Rashid Ganie.(KNS)
