Srinagar, Dec 16 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G A Mir Friday congratulated Greater Kashmir Editor-in-Chief, Fayaz Kaloo for being elected as president of Kashmir Editors Guild (KEG).
He said, “The contributions of Fayaz Kaloo towards the betterment of journalism in the state are immense. He took journalistic activities to new heights in Jammu and Kashmir and through Greater Kashmir; English journalism got a new dimension in the State.”

“Kaloo and his team in Greater Kashmir and Kashmir Uzma have given a new dimension to the field of journalism,” he said in a statement to KNS.
Mir congratulated Chief Editor Kashmir Images Bashir Manzar and Chief Editor Chattan for being elected as Vice Presidents of the Guild.
Mir also congratulated Masood Hussain on being elected as Secretary General, Haroon Rashid Shah as Organizor Cum Treasurer, Shafat Kira as Spokesman and Executive Committee Members of the Guild Dr. Shujaat Bukhari, Gulam Geelani Qadri, Zahoor Hashmi, Bashir Ahmad Bashir, Sajad Haider, Shameem Mehraj, Manzoor Anjum, Haji Hayat, Zahoor Ahmad Malik, Raja Mohi U Din.
