Srinagar July 28:(KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President on Wednesday expressed deep shock and grief over the casualties due to cloudburst that struck upper reach in Kishtawar.

Mir also prayed for safe recovery of missing persons.

In a statement, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir grieved over cloudburst causalities in Kishtawar and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved families.

I would urge the Govt to speed up the work to trace out the missing persons and pray for their safe recovery, JKPCC President said.

It was terrible and unfortunate news, I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn about the Kishtawar cloudburst incident, Mir added and expressed his solidarity with the bereaved families.(KNS)
