Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Monday greeted people on the very auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad un Nabi (SAW) and prayed for peace, stability and prosperity of the people.

In his message, J&KPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir has said that the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was the greatest gift from Almighty Allah to mankind, whose teachings (Sunnah) will continue to lead the mankind at the path of truthfulness and righteousness.

Mir said the world needs to follow the teachings of Prophet (SAW), who taught us to respect the humanity irrespective of colour or religion, tolerance and compassion, which need to be strictly followed.

"On this occasion, let us pray for prevalence of peace and stability in J&K, safety and wellbeing of the people," Mir added and also prayed for end to bloodshed. (KNS)
