Srinagar, Feb 21 (KNS): Describing Mahashivratri a momentous and unique festival, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has urged upon the Government to ensure appropriate arrangements and every facility to people on this auspicious occasion, which is being observed this month on 24th with religious fervor and gaiety.
G.A. Maha-Shivratri symbolizes the cultural diversity, age-old tradition of amity, harmony and brotherhood in the State of J&K, it also strengthens the bond of unity and togetherness among the people in the State, G.A.Mir added.
Extending greetings to people on the eve of Maha Shivratri, G.A. Mir prayed for the wellbeing, prosperity and development of the people and hoped that the occasion will be the harbinger of peace, tranquility and prosperity of the people. (KNS)
