Srinagar, Dec 31 (KNS): Extending New Year greetings to people of the Country in general and J&K State, in particular, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has expressed hope that New Year 2017 would be full of joy, happiness and harbinger of overall development of the State, success and prosperity of the people.

He said unfortunately the people have gone through a very difficult situation in the year 2016, besides witnessing the dance of death and destruction, which has not only derailed the developmental process of the State, but has inflicted heavy losses both to human and properties due to the valley unrest, the impact of which would be felt for a long. He prayed and hoped the New Year 2017 heal the wounds and bring all the joy and smile on the faces of the people.
