Asks JK Govt to fix responsibility for the tragic road accident

Anantnag November 15 (KNS): Congress Working Committee (CWC) Member and Former JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir today expressed anguish and pain over the loss of 15 precious lives “as reported so far” leaving scores critically injured after a passenger bus fell into a deep gorge in the Assar area of Doda district.

Mir termed the incident most unfortunate, shocking and heart breaking and expressed anguish and pain over the tragic incident, which has devastated dozens of families.

I have no words to express my grief, the loss of precious lives in this unfortunate incident has made me speechless, my heart goes out to those who have lost their dear ones, Mir said and expressed heartfelt condolences to bereaved families while praying for speedy recovery of the injured.

I sincerely share the grief with the bereaved families and pray for their courage to bear the irreparable loss of their dear family members, CWC Member added.
CWC Member slammed the JK Govt for failing to contain such incidents and said despite the public outcry and loss of precious lives in frequent road accidents, Govt has failed to do anything with regard to safety of public and laid emphasis over fixing responsibility for this unfortunate incident and those that happened in past.

Mir told the JK Govt to come out of a deep slumber and see how precious lives are lost in frequent road accidents and take effective measures to ensure public safety rather than making tall claims on so-called development in J&K.(KNS)
