Srinagar Jan 25 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G. A. Mir has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the untimely demise of Senior Political Activist of Anantnag Advocate Gulam Mohi U Din Reshi, who passed away today due to massive heart attack.
G. A. Mir expressed anguish over his untimely demise and termed it as great loss. He recalled his long association with the Congress party, praised the contributions and selfless services rendered by him (Adv. Reshi) to the Congress Party and people of Anantnag.

Meanwhile G. A. Mir had expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives due to snow avalanche, which hast cost many precious lives in Gurez today.
Describing this incident as most unfortunate and anguish, G. A. Mir expressed sympathies with bereaved family.
He said despite the warning from Met Department, Govt has not been able to shift the people living in avalanche prone area to safer places, which is not only unfortunate by a shameful act on the party of State Govt.
He asked the Divisional Administration to take effect measure and ensure that people living in avalanche prone area are shifted to safer places inorder to ensure their safety. (KNS)
