Srinagar, June 28 (KNS): Expressing deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of a veteran religious and political leader Peerzada Ghulam Jeelani, JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has termed his death as a great loss to State. The deceased being the well-known figure in the Valley, was one of the Member of the Constituent assembly, also having represented Pampore Constituency in the Legislative Council for decades.
PCC Chief offered condolences to the family members of Peerzada and prayed for peace to departed soul.

Peerzada termed the deceased as a senior religious and political leader of the States, who always worked for the upliftment of people especially poor and down trodden sections of the Society.
He said the Contribution made by Peerzada Ghulam Jeelani to the development of the State as a Member of the Constituent assembly shall continue to lead us to the path of development and prosperity.
Peerzada Ghulam Jeelani has rendered his best services to the people as Member of the Legislative Council and shall continue to inspire the young generation of the State.
Peerzada offered condolences to bereaved and sympathized with them. (KNS)
