Srinagar, Jan 12 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing away of eminent Islam Cleric and Khateeb of Historic Jamia Masjid Khag (Beerwah) Budgam Maulana Syed Tahir Razvi, who breathed his last today.
Describing his demise as a great loss to entire J&K State, particularly Kashmir valley, Mir said Maulana Razvi was an institution himself, who always remained committed to part Islamic education to people throughout his life and has contributed a lot to Islamic Education.
He was a great scholar with great knowledge on Islamic Education, his demise is really a great loss, which can never be recovered. Mir said

G.A. Mir also condoled sad demise of Guam Mohd Khan former President INTUC, father of Congress Leader Fayaz Ahmad Khan.
