Srinagar April 13 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir today felicitated people on the commencement of holy month of Ramadhan and Navreh.

G.A. Mir hoped that both the auspicious period (Ramadhan and Navreh) will be the harbinger of peace and prosperity of people.

In a statement, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir described the Holy month of Ramadhan a very significant month in the Islamic calendar, full of blessings and mercy from the Almighty and said that during this month Muslim Ummah observe fast to seek forgiveness from Almighty.

The month of fasting is the month of guidance and self-introspection, providing the opportunities to purify the souls, Mir added and conveyed his hearty greetings to people and prayed for their wellbeing.

JKPCC President said that the auspicious period of Navreh will continue to lead the people at the path of truthfulness and honesty, guiding them to serve the humanity.
