Fruit Growers, Dealers Holds Protest across Kashmir against stopping of supply trucks on highway

Srinagar November 09:(KNS) Protest held on Monday throughout Valleys in Fruit Mandi’s in Srinagar under the leadership of Mr. Bashir Ahmad Basheer Chairman Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Cum Dealers Union President The New Kashmir Fruit Association, Sopore President Fayaz Ahmad Malik, Shopian President Mohammad Ashraf Wani, Pulwama President Abdul Hameed Malik, Anantnag President Mohammad Sadeeq Kennu, Kulgam President Ghulam Mohammad Banday, Baramulla President Mohammad Yousuf Dar, Chare-e-sharief President Bashir Ahmad Baba, Pachhar President, Abdul Ahad Ganai, Handwara President Mohammad Amin, Ganderbal President, Manzoor Ahmad Parra, strong protest held in every Mandi’s of the Valley were thousands of Fruit Growers, Dealers, transporters and buyers were also participating in the said protest under the banner of Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Cum Dealers Union and requested the Government to kindly regarding the constant stoppage of thousands of Fruit laden trucks on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway NH44 for several days. The “DIWALI” and “CHATT PUJA” is to be celebrated very shortly and the all the Fruit Laden trucks which were loaded from Kashmir Valley are stranded on Srinagar- Jammu National Highway our main request to channel the traffic on regular basis so these trucks should reach their destination on time. Now it is every apprehension once these trucks will reach together on their destinations market will fall Growers and traders will get heavy losses so we again requested traffic Authorities and Civil Administration to regularize the traffic and allow these trucks to travel in their respective destinations on daily basis.
Even the promises made by Civil Authorities an Traffic Department things are not happening on the ground level so all Authorities are requested to kindly look into this matter after personally and see that the things should happen on ground level and the traffic should allow on hassle free traffic on daily basis so that Valley based Fruit Growers cum Dealers could be saved from further losses.(KNS)
