Oppression against Jammu Muslims is intolerable and Kashmiri Muslims will launch an agitation against this oppression if it is not stopped immediately. This was stated by the vice chairman JKLF advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt while leading a protest march in this connection today.
The protest march, as per the KNS correspondent, started from JKLF office at Abi Guzar and was attended by various JKLF leaders and activists. Holding play cards in their hands and raising slogans in favor of Jammu Muslims, the protesters marched towards Lal Chowk. Police tried to stop the procession midway but because of stiff resistance from marchers was not able to do so. As soon as protesters reached press enclave police from both sides besieged them and arrested the whole leadership. Among those arrested included JKLF vice chairmen advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt and Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal, zonal senior vice president Muhammad Yasin Butt, zonal general secretary sheikh Abdul Rashid, zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, and leader sheikh Khalid Mubarak, Ghulam Muhammad Dar, Muhammad Haneef, Imtiyaz Ganai, Shakir Ahmad Aahangar, Bashrat Ahmad Butt and Ali Muhammad Butt etc.
Before the protest march and arrests, Butt while talking to media said that the protest was being organized in wake of what happened at Rajouri and what is being systematically done throughout Jammu region after the installations of present regime. He said that after the establishment of present PDP-BJP rule, Jammu Muslims are being targeted and terrorized and in a systematic manner and an atmosphere of fear is being created among them. He said that rulers at the behest of RSS are trying to recreate and repeat 1947 and by displacing Muslims from Jammu belt are actually engaged in fulfilling RSS agenda of demography change in Jammu region.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that Kashmiris will not remain silent spectators over the plight of Jammu Muslims.
He said that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and his government have started implementing RSS agenda on Kashmir especially in Jammu. Butt said that Sayeed has shown that he is a staunch RSS man who will do everything possible to please his masters in Nagpur. He said that 1947 like situation is being created throughout Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar, Baderwah and Rambhan areas and rulers want to displace Muslims from these areas so that is becomes easy for them to settle down RSS agents and workers from outside state in these areas. He said that there are reports that mufti government through its officers is trying to manipulate data of population to change the demography of these areas so that Muslim majority areas are turned as minority. He said that separating Jammu and Kashmir on communal lines is old agenda of RSS and so called Jammu Kashmir government by following policies like these are actually fulfilling this condemnable agenda.
He said that present regime in Jammu Kashmir from the first day is trying to pursue the RSS agenda here but we want to convey to them a simple message that they are playing with fire and these measures will have disastrous results and the responsibility of all this would rest with them. Butt said Kashmiri will not watch atrocities on Jammu Muslims silently and will launch a sustained agitation against this if situation doesn’t changes soon. He said that Kashmiri Muslims stand by their Jammu brothers in this hour of need and we warn rulers to stop terrorizing Jammu Muslims otherwise, Muslims in Kashmir will have no choice but to launch a strong protest movement against this.
