MLA Langate and president Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) Er Rasheed has expressed his deep anger and anguish over the Trenz Shopean incident where 10 innocents were injured in a mysterious blast and demanded an independent thorough probe.
On one hand Kashmiris are being butchered in mysterious blasts in broad day light and on the other hand Hindu terrorist Swami Aseem Annand involved in Samjota Express blasts that had left 68 people innocents killed is being shamelessly released from the jail. People have a right to know that if Yakub Memon and Afzal Guru could be hanged for their indirect involvements why should Aseem Annand not be given the same treatment. In a press statement issued today Er Rashid said in a statement to KNS.
“Siege and search operations have considerably increased in the state and security agencies seem to have got a free hand to do whatsoever they want. Especially with 15th August approaching closer, it seems as if Kashmir is turning into a battle field. It is high time for government of India to introspect and find the reasons that while people in rest of the country are keenly and eagerly waiting for India’s Independence Day, why everybody in Kashmir feels insecure and harassed.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe ground realities and fear psychosis in Kashmir give ample proof that government of India has miserably failed in J&K and doubts everybody in Kashmir whosoever.” He added that the realities and facts don’t provide any reason to Kashmiris to celebrate India’s Independence Day. He further said. “Kashmiris greet India and Pakistan on eve of 14th and 15th August for getting freedom from Britishers but have a right to know that from whom did Kashmiris got freedom on that very day. Infact on 15th August 1947 Jammu and Kashmir was an independent state, no matter Maharaja was the autocratic ruler. Why Kashmiris should be forced to raise Indian or Pakistani flag on 14th and 15th August. The fact of the matter is that from 15th August 1947 onwards Jammu and Kashmir started losing its freedom and its sufferings never ended till date. Rather than trying to raise tricolour everywhere in J&K, GoI should revisit its Kashmir policy and resolve Kashmir issue in accordance with parameters of justice.” (KNS)
