Kupwara (Herri) Mar 6 (KNS): From past 15 days, the residents of Heeri village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district are reeling under darkness. However, the authorities fail to take action in this regard thereby leaving the inhabitants to lurch at large.
Local residents in Malik Mohalla Herri, told KNS that they are facing immense hardships in absence of electricity.
“Our children are suffering badly. We are unable to charge our mobile phones while appliances like refrigerators and iron are lying useless due to the non-availability of electricity in the village,” said Bashir Ahmad, a local resident.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said the villagers even brought the matter to the notice of a staff members of Herri grid station, but all in vain.
The residents have warned of protests if things were not set right without delay. (KNS)
