Real beneficiaries left out, residents demand fast track investigation

Srinagar, May 04 (KNS): The people of Qalamabaad town of Langate constituency of Kupwara district have alleged that the LPG domestic gas connections under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana have been fraudulently issued in their names.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS) the real beneficiaries of Prime Minister's Ujjwala Scheme have been ignored as LPG domestic gas connections have been fraudulently got issued under different names.
The residents of Qlamabaad town of Mawer area told KNS that they were stunned to know from the offices of local gas agencies that LPG domestic gas connections under Ujjwala scheme have been already issued in their names.
Former Sarpanch Qalamabad Abdul Gani told KNS that people of IAY category had submitted applications for LPG gas connections under Prime Minister's Ujjwala scheme last year in the offices of Diamond and Aabshaar Gas agencies but were stunned to know that the LPG gas connections have been already issued in their names this year.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The aggrieved people of Aadoora, Drangsoo, Pringroo and adjoining villages have urged the top officials of district administration and district police administration to investigate the fraudulent distribution of LPG domestic gas connections under Prime Minister's Ujala Scheme and ensure that these fraudulently issued gas connections reach the real beneficiaries.
