Budgam, Oct 06 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir police Wednesday said that it has arrested four persons involved in illegal excavation and transportation of clay and boulder stones in central Kashmir Budgam district and also seized four tippers. 

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a spokesperson said that during naka checking at Bugroo Khansahib, police party of police station Khansahib arrested 04 persons and seized 04 tippers for illegally extracting boulder stones from Nalla Shali-Ganga Watrad. 

The statement reads that the arrested persons have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Dar son of Abdul Salaam Dar, Mushtaq Ahmed Thokar son of Abdul Kareem, Mohammad Ashraf Khan son of Abdul Rashid Khan-all residents of Watrad Khansahib and Mushtaq Ahmed Najar son-in-law of Mohammad Yousuf Wani of Gurwath Khansahib. 

It reads that a case FIR number 228/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Khansahab and further investigation was going on. (KNS)
