Srinagar, July 24 (KNS) : Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday said that it arrested four accused for beating a journalist yesterday evening in Bamina area of central Kashmir's Srinagar city.
In a tweet Srinagar police informed that the four accused arrested for beating a journalist yesterday evening. Prima facie the case seems to be that of road-rage.
"Case was registered at Bemina PS under relevant sections and investigation was taken up yesterday itself," the Srinagar police said.
Saturday evening, Journalist Shabraz Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad Parray of Bemina was beaten in Bemina Chowk by four people following which he had lodged a complaint at police station (KNS).
