Four CRPF personnel, civilian injured in Baramulla grenade attack

Srinagar, July 30(KNS): Four security personnel including an Assistant sub inspector and a civilian were injured in a grenade attack at Khanpora Bridge in North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Friday afternoon, officials said. 

Officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that suspected militants lobbed a grenade at the security personnel deployed at Khanpora Bridge in the afternoon during which four security personnel including an Assistant sub inspector and a civilian. 

Soon after the incident as per officials the injured were admitted to the GMC Hospital Baramulla. the officials identified them as
ASI Kisku, constable Dayananad Kumar, Kamlesh Singh and Gautam Mandal.

The officials said that the area was cordoned off after the attack and a hunt was launched to nap the attackers 

Earlier, on last Wednesday Suspected militants hurled a grenade towards a police party at Drusoo area of Rafiabad. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in that attack(KNS).
