Srinagar, Jan 31 (KNS): Four persons were injured on Tuesday after the government forces resorted to firing to disperse protesters in Samboora village of Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police officials told KNS.
Deputy Inspector General of Police south Kashmir S P Pani, told KNS that, after a specific information about presence of militants 50 RR of Army, launched a search operation in the Samboora Village of Pampore area, meanwhile people started stone pelting on them, after which the forces in self defence resorted firing in which four civilians were injured.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that all of them were shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar where they being treated.
While talking with Medical Superintendent SMHS Dr Nazir Chowdhary, said that four persons have been admitted here with bullet injuries and all are out of danger.
He said, the three injured has been shifted to Bone and Joint hospital Barzulla for further treatment. (KNS)
