Srinagar, Apr 14 (KNS): Former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and senior congress leader, Tara Chand on Saturday met with All India Congress Committee (AICC) president, Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi.
Durign the meeting, the duo discussed the political and security situation of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chand briefed Rahul about the alienation of people with the ruling regime and said that the people of the state are suffering due to the failures of the incumbent government.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
After holding deliberations with Rahul Gandhi, Chand told KNS that the AICC president gave patient hearing to him during the meeting.
“Some leaders in the party fold are acting as my enemies and want to ruin my career,” he said, adding that “I am a soldier of the party and will continue to strengthen the party.” (KNS)
