Jammu, Jan 27 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir is diverse and has rich cuisine and culture which has an international appeal this was said by secretary tourism Farooq Ahmad shah while giving details of recently organized food festival during Bharat Parvah organized by Ministry of Tourism GOI on the back ramp pads of reds forte during the republic day which has participation of all the states of India including the hotel management institutes from all over the country and is an effective platform to showcase the rich and diverse cuisine and culture of different states .
The secretary Tourism termed the food festivals as important and effective medium to promote the destination of Jammu Kashmir as the rich cuisine of Kashmir and other parts of the state has international appeal as people across the globe explore and indulge in new culinary delights.
The Manager of JKTDC food court CB Koul in the said festival said that the Kashmiri cuisine was liked and appreciated by all visitors and participants which is an encouraging sign.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The JKTDC has food stall in Delhi’s famous craft bazaar Delhi Haat opposite INA market and has food outlets across the state as well which are run professionally and the food is made by expert chuffs in Kashmiri cuisine.
The secretary tourism informed that the JKTDC will organize food festivals across the country to promote the rich cuisine and culture of the state which in turn will promote the destination of Jammu Kashmir in the country and across the globe, the secretary added that Jammu Kashmir as a state has so much to offer our cuisine is one such tempting attraction which can attract food lovers from all over the county and world thus indirectly bringing tourism to the state.
