Bandipora, August 19:(KNS) The employees of FCS&CA & FPS dealers of Bandipora district Thursday held a meeting to frame the new district Union body.
In a statement issued here, the newly formed Union said,“Today a historic meeting between employees of FCS&CA Bandipora and FPS dealers was held in which District union body was framed and Shabir Ahmad khan was elected as its President while Aamir HussainSheikh as Vice-president
The statement said that Ab Kabir was elected as Secretary of the Union, adding that the Union on an oath unanimously pledged that from now all of the issues will get addressed through proper channel by the it's worthy president.
While unfolding the main agenda of the Union, the statement said,“It work to increase cooperation and well being of employees and FP shop dealers as there was extreme division between employees of FCS&CA Bandipora.”
“The Union will work to promote friendliness and unity among workers. It will work for the progress of all employees and FP shop dealers by acting as bridge between the employer and workers. The Union will discuss the problems faced by all frontline and office staff and ensure they are brought into the notice of higher ups for timely redressal.”
“It was also decided in the meeting that the two unions presently established in our District will cease to exist under different banners and from now all of us are under one and same banner of Food civil supplies and employees Association Bandipora. It's President warned those miscreants who try to create rift between employees and then defame the image of this Department which is very unfortunate and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances and if any employee/FP shop dealer ever since tried to malign the image of this Department will be socially boycotted and blacklisted,” the statement said.
Newly elected Union President stressed on the fact that mistakes that happened in the past due to any of the reason may be forgiven and shall be overlooked for the welfare and benefit of all.
“The employees and FP shop dealers while affirming their faith in Shabir Ahmad khan assured him that all of the decisions of the elected body will be binding and acceptable to all,” the statement said.
“Shabir Ahmad khan along with his body thanked all the participants for attending the meet and bestowing him with the responsibility and assured them he will leave no stone unturned when it comes to the welfare of this Department and employees/ FP shop dealers. At last Ab Kabir gave vote of thanks to all the participants,” the statement added.(KNS)
