Srinagar, Aug 11 (KNS): Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Thursday reiterated appeal to people to strictly follow the programme issued by the pro-freedom leadership while assuring them that the freedom struggle will yield results.
In a statement issued to KNS, DFP general secretary Moulana Abdullah Tari said the people of Jammu Kashmir in general and youth in particular must realize their responsibilities and play utmost role towards the freedom movement with a firm belief that their struggle will yield results.
He said people must participate in the protest congregations saying the sacrifices are inevitable for the achievement of freedom of any nation. He also paid tributes to those martyred during the ongoing anti-India uprising. “History is witness that the struggling nations ultimately achieve the goal,” he said.
In his appeal to the Government of Pakistan, Moulana Tari said Pakistan as a stakeholder to the Kashmir dispute and a significant Muslim nation has double responsibility.
He termed the administration’s pro-people claims as false and deceptive saying those who murder their own people, blind the children, and attack the patients and ambulances cannot be termed as humans.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe reiterated his appeal to employees to keep in view the sacrifices of other sections of society including trade bodies, labourers, youths, women, medicos, and many other volunteers, and play their role towards the ongoing movement.
Meanwhile, Freedom Party chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah expressed grief over the demise of renowned religious scholar and spiritual leader of the Valley Moulana Muhammad Ashraf Andrabi and extended condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family. "The deceased dedicated his life for the services of Islam,” he said.
Shah also expressed grief over the sad demise of the mother of Abdul Gani Goni who is languishing in Jaipur Central jail since last 21 years. He expressed condolence with the bereaved family and prayed for forbearance to them.
He also expressed grief over the demise of Shafqat Hussain, who is the son of late Muhammad Yousuf Qadri, and expressed condolence with the bereaved family. (KNS)
