FMGE June 2026 students seek resolution to video-based question issue

New Delhi, Aug 20(KNS): Students appearing for the June 2026 Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) have sought immediate intervention from authorities over what they described as unexpected video-based questions in the examination, saying the issue has created uncertainty over their careers.

In an appeal to the media, the students said they had repeatedly raised concerns regarding the video-based questions and were seeking a fair and transparent resolution from the authorities.

The students said they were initially asked to wait for two weeks for a response. After the period elapsed, they were asked to wait for another 24 hours and subsequently another 24 hours.

"Now, even those 48 hours have passed. We were expecting a concrete response/result today, but unfortunately, we still have not received the promised result or resolution," the students said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

They also alleged that students who had gathered peacefully to raise their concerns were being asked to leave without receiving a clear response on their demands.

The students said they were not seeking to create any disturbance but wanted clarity on an issue that could have a significant bearing on their careers.

"Our careers and future are at stake. We have waited patiently, followed every assurance given to us, and given the authorities sufficient time," they said.

They appealed to media organisations to highlight the issue and bring their concerns before the authorities, saying immediate intervention could help thousands of FMG students and their families.

The students reiterated their demand for a fair and transparent resolution to the issue.(KNS).
