Srinagar, Oct 05 (KNS): Police on Thursday said that today evening some miscreants in Pattan Baramulla raised a false alarm about two labourers namely Maroof Ahmad Taas S/O Zulfikar Taas and Mohammad Jan Raina S/O Aisaar Raina from Kalaroos, Kupwara that they are braid choppers. Thereafter police intervened and rescued the labourers. Preliminary investigation revealed that duo are labourers by profession and living in a rented accommodation in Pattan provided by local contractor.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
FIR has been lodged against rumour mangers who have been identified and one person has been arrested so far.
People are advised not to heed to rumours and beware of miscreants who are attempting to vitiate peace and order. (KNS)
