Fill up Vacant office of Tehsildar in Karnah, People to Admn

Srinagar, Oct 21:- (KNS) The resident of Karnah area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district are up arms against authorties for failing to appoint Tehsildar in Karnah Tehsil.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS) the post of Tehsildar has been lying vacant from one month, after the retirement of previous Tehsildar and the authirities have failed to send his replacement causing resentment among residents.
in absence of Tehsildar local of the area particuly students who are applying for postmatric pahari speaking scholarship facing severe inconvenience in absence of Tehsidar who besides being drawing and disbursing officer is required to attest essential documents like Pahari speaking people (PSP), Income certificates, Domicile, land notations and other revenue deeds.
"We have been suffering since the retirement of previous Tehsildar, I have been coming here daily in tehsil office to complete documentation for Scholarship but my effort are proving fruitless as there is no tehsildar to attest the documents" said a Student Javid Ahmad, he said that the last date of submission of of Scholarship form are 31st of this month in absence of Tehsildar thousands of students could not complete documentation.
For some simple application we have to travel from far off places to tehsil office every day and in absence of Tehsildar concerned we return to our homes with deep disappointment.” told locals of different villages while talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS).
Meanwhile locals appealed DDC Kupwara and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to kindly redress the issue at an earliest so that common masses will not suffer further hardships.(KNS)
