Srinagar, Oct 02 (KNS): Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and J&K State Sports Council on Sunday held a meeting in the office chamber of Secretary J&K State Sports Council in Srinagar, in order to create a platform for Sports Tourism and Sports activities within and across the State Jammu and Kashmir.
In an emailed statement issued to KNS said that to enhance efficiency and global competitiveness of J&K Sports and to expand opportunities both in domestic and foreign countries, J&K State Sports Council is all set to engage with FICCI as knowledge partner for drafting Sports Policy of the State and to create job opportunities in the State Jammu and Kashmir.
Rajpal Singh, Director Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) said that their organization will give the impression of being after Sports activities that will be held in the State.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe also said that the mapping of infrastructure will be done under the supervision of FICCI experts.
Secretary J&K State Sports Council apprised the team about the present on- going Sports activities in the State and impressed on holding Sports activities, festivals, from all district headquarters and Panchayats of the State, the statement said.
The Director assured that its organization (FICCI) will build up the sports activities of the State Jammu and Kashmir widely National as well as internationally.
While commenting on the Global Sports Summit, that FICCI holds every year, he said that this time Jammu and Kashmir will be its State Partner, to promote Sports tourism in the State.
The meeting lasts for several hours and many other important discussions were held regarding the overall Sports activities in the State. (KNS)
